Our sustainability ambitions are aligned with those of our clients and prospects, with the eradication of 327,000 tonnes of CO2e by 2028 being the goal, the equivalent of taking 73,000 cars off the road.PositionAs the Invoice Processing Team Manager at Sustainable Energy First, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team responsible for ensuring data is entered accurately, efficiently, and on time. With data at the heart of our organisation, your work will be essential in enabling the wider business to analyse information effectively – unlocking valuable insights, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue growth.You will take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues that may impact delivery. When challenges arise, you’ll not only propose solutions but also take ownership of escalations through to resolution, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.Success in this role will come from your ability to manage and motivate your team. You’ll ensure your team are engaged, provide on-the-spot coaching and support, and collaborate with the Quality & Training team to ensure broader training needs are met.Collaboration across the business is also key. You’ll work closely with other teams to resolve operational issues affecting data and ensure stakeholders are kept up to date when challenges occur.Requirements

  • Strong understanding and demonstrable experience of data processing
  • Provide structured and meaningful coaching and upskilling to your team to ensure its success.
  • Effective and clear communication with suppliers, your team and other internal teams to resolve discrepancies, ensure smooth operations and set goals and expectations.
  • Managing multiple invoices and tasks of your own, supporting the team with theirs efficiently as well as keeping track of your own and your teams’ tasks, deadlines and productivity requires exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, prioritising workload, meeting deadlines and leading a team of Invoice Processing Specialists is vital for maintaining workflow efficiency
  • Taking responsibility for your own actions and decisions is essential for trust and reliability within the team.
  • Being flexible and able to adjust yourself and your team to new ways of working, processes, leadership style and any unexpected challenges.
  • A strong ability to inspire and motivate your team to achieve their best and high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Must be approachable, transparent and open to all forms of feedback to encourage an environment of trust and togetherness.
  • Working well with others, valuing diverse perspectives, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere are key to team success
  • The ability to adapt to evolving business needs is a must as is the need to resolve any issues promptly
