Job description: Company DescriptionAs an Invoice Variance Controller, you will join our dynamic team on a hybrid working basis from Bury St Edmunds delving into all of our purchase invoices for food & liquor orders across nearly 1,700 pubs. Seemingly reconciling these invoices against stock entries at the pubs to ensure we are only accounting for the goods that are delivered and ultimately sold to our customers! You will collaborate with many teams within the company as well as suppliers ensuring queries are responded to in a timely manner and providing a high level of customer service.Join us at Greene King the country’s leading pub company and brewer, where our mission is to pour happiness into lives and become the pride of great British hospitality.   • Deal with invoice matching variances in a timely manner, as defined within the service partnership agreement
  • Provide a seamless service to General Managers who require credits or stock adjustments
  • Providing a high level of customer service through our Pub Query System
  • Create a culture of challenge around variances encountered and always strive to eradicate root causes
  • Establish if and where a process has failed and take the necessary steps to prevent future issues and be comfortable recommending process changes where required
  • Be the first port of call to assist 1,700 pubs with delivery or stock queries
  • Day to day reporting tasks and ad hoc as requested
