Job description: Lead Architect – Pharma/Industrial Projects – Dublin or CorkOffice/Project Location: Dublin or CorkEmployment Type: ContractWork Location: Office Based / HybridPay: €60 – €70 per hourExperience: 10+ yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a leading international engineering consultancy.10+ years experience with proven track record leading large Pharma or technical projectsIndependently lead plant design activities as an area/system leader and coordinate with multi-discipline designers.Track record leading large teams working both remotely and in the officePerform / coordinated Architectural design work across several engineering disciplines in 2D/3D integrated design systems.Perform quality review checks for 2D/3D modelling and Architectural deliverables.Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and vendor bid evaluations.Assist in the generation of proposals, scopes, schedules and budgets for projects.Develops designer effort-hour estimates for Architectural discipline.Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.Proactive architect with experience in all stages of project delivery (schematic design, site master planning, design development, construction)High degree of proficiency and speed in AutoCAD and RevitAn understanding of local permitting legislation, building regulations, and health and safety legislationRequirementsPharmaceutical or large-scale industrial experience preferable.Proficient in Microsoft suite (Excel).Strong relevant architectural design experience in industrial/advanced technology sector.Experience in equipment layout definition.Excellent English level – written and spoken,Knowledge of Architectural specific design standards and building regulationsAbility to interact with engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels.Experience using REVIT and BIM desirable.Familiar with BCaR.PackageHourly contract rates €60- €70 per hour negotiable based on level of experience.Hybrid working options are available.ContactMark Bowe is the consultant managing this position.If you are a Lead Architect interested in roles based in Ireland, you can contact Mark by e-mail at ​mark@jobcontax.com or phone +353-1-9696681​ for a confidential chat.JobContax do not send CVs to clients without candidate permission.With over 50 years of technical recruitment experience, JobContax is the leading recruiter of Architects in Ireland.Due to the large volume of applications, JobContax may not be able to respond to every individual.
