Research & Development (R&D)
SCADA HardwareResearch & Development function at Vestas is the driving force behind innovation in modern energy solutions. As a critical part of this ecosystem, the Control Hardware department-under Nacelles R&D-focuses on developing, improving, and testing next-generation technologies that shape the future of wind energy. Within this department, the SCADA Hardware Sub Module plays a pivotal role in advancing our control hardware capabilities. We leverage advanced methods such as system engineering, modularization, and simulation to create intelligent and efficient solutions for wind turbines and SCADA systems. Our responsibilities span both new product development and ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the existing SCADA product portfolio.
