Job description: Lead IAM Strategy ArchitectLead IAM Strategy Architect – Flutter Global CybersecurityLocation – London/Leeds/DublinHybrid – 2 days per week (Dublin only)Flutter is seeking a Lead IAM Strategy Architect to orchestrate our group-wide Identity & Access Management (IAM) strategy. This pivotal role will report to the AD of Group Enterprise Security and is responsible for safeguarding Flutter’s critical assets and streamlining access across all our global divisions, regions, and brands.If you’re a dedicated IAM professional with a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership, we want to hear from you.About Division/FunctionFlutter consists of two commercial divisions (Fanduel and International) and our central Flutter Functions; COO, Finance & Legal. Together we cover Product & Payments, Technology, Sportsbook Product & Trading, People, Property, Corporate Communications and Strategic Partnerships & Transformation.What you’ll doStrategy & Leadership: Define and continuously refine Flutter’s IAM strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligning initiatives with business goals and cyber risk priorities.Central IAM Program Implementation: Architect and design a centralized IAM framework covering authentication, authorization, provisioning, and identity governance. This includes supporting the selection and deployment of IAM solutions like SSO, MFA, IGA, and PAM.Policy & Governance: Establish IAM policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations such as GDPR, SOX, and PCI.Global Collaboration: Serve as the primary IAM liaison for Flutter Group, collaborating with security teams, infrastructure teams, and business units to ensure effective IAM solutions.Solution Design & Integration: Lead the design of IAM solution reference architectures and integration patterns, ensuring swift onboarding of new systems and M&A entities.Security Oversight & Compliance Automation: Continuously evaluate and improve IAM security controls, supporting automated user access reviews and certification campaigns.Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Stay current on emerging IAM technologies, evaluate new tools, and assess IAM program maturity for continuous enhancement.Project & Vendor Management: Oversee IAM project execution and manage relationships with IAM product vendors and service providers.How you’ll do itExperience: Multiple years of experience in IAM or closely related cybersecurity fields, with a proven record of designing and implementing IAM solutions in large, complex environments.Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of IAM domains, including authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, LDAP, Kerberos), identity federation, user provisioning, directory management, RBAC, PAM, and IGA processes.Hands-on Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience with IAM technologies (e.g., Active Directory/Entra ID, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk), and administrative experience with directories and authentication systems.Regulatory Acumen: Strong understanding of data protection regulations (GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA) and how IAM fulfills these requirements.Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated strategic leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration abilities to unite technical and business teams.Certifications: Professional certifications in security and IAM (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly valuedWhat’s in it for youWe are a flexible employer; whether you have personal commitments or a hobby that brings you joy, we want you to bring your best self to work and feel empowered to do so.
