Job title: Lean Specialist in Business Excellence

Job description: NPP Packaging systems are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lean Specialist to join our team. The Lean Specialist will be responsible for leading and implementing lean principles and practices to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity within our packaging operations. The role will work across multiple areas of the business including production, sales and finance. Key Responsibilities: Analyse current processes to identify areas for improvement and address operational issues. Map processes to identify bottlenecks. Collaborate across the organisation to drive continuous improvement efforts. Identify and eliminate waste in processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Support the development and implementation of standard work procedures. Monitor and report on the progress of lean initiatives and their impact on key performance indicators and company goals. Provide management date in Power BI and SQL. Develop and implement lean tools and techniques such as Six Sigma for continuous improvement and excellence. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and business excellence. Train and mentor employees on lean principles. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the packaging industry Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong knowledge of lean principles, tools, and methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and lean software tools. Knowledge of ERP systems. Fluency in English. Academic Qualifications: Master’s degree in business, engineering or a related field. Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or a related discipline.
