We work with some of the world’s major energy, maritime and industrial organizations, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Lean Specialist for our Rugby plant who will lead and facilitate lean initiatives focused on optimizing processes, eliminating waste, and driving operational excellence. This role involves coaching teams and leading continuous improvement initiatives and projects to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance across the organization.Roles and Responsibilities:Implement and sustain Lean initiatives across the facility to improve efficiency and reduce wasteCoach cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and cost-saving actions using Lean methodologiesWork closely with engineering, production, and quality departments to optimize processes and ensure product reliabilityDeliver Lean training and coaching to employees at all levels, promoting a culture of continuous improvementUse data-driven insights and KPIs to measure and evaluate the impact of lean initiativesRequired Qualifications:Experience in Lean in a manufacturing environmentBachelor’s degree of an engineering discipline from an accredited universityStrong analytical and inquisitive thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven inferencesStrong oral and written English language skillsComfortable commuting to the Rugby facility on a daily basisDesired Characteristics:Proficiency in MS Office-Excel, other software knowledge beneficial (Statistics, simulation, Kanban, etc.)High coordination skills and hands-on approachEnhanced problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesStrong manufacturing knowledge with deep understanding of shopfloor managementLean training certifications, with a preference for Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologiesExperience in Lean management in the electromechanical sectorAbility to develop and motivate a high-involvement team through commitment to meeting customer and organizational demandsStrong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholdersHigh speed and focus on responsibilityYou can expect from us:Challenging and exciting projectsA work environment where we understand that not everyone has the same expectations about their jobs, careers and work-life balance and we are happy to discuss flexibility requirements.Attractive compensation.Flexible benefits so you can build a package that fits your personal needs.
