Job description: Company DescriptionUpwork has partnered with an industry-leading AI, they connect the critical components of revenue management, offer creation, distribution, and digital retailing to drive airline revenue.They are currently seeking a native Greenlandic linguist for a long-term partnership involving multiple upcoming projects in the travel and tourism sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of both English and Greenlandic, with experience in localization and non-literal translation approaches.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities

• Translation of travel-related content including:

• Labels
• Module titles
• Template contents
• Destination descriptions and articles
• Ensuring content reads naturally in Greenlandic while maintaining the original message and tone.
• Collaborating with our project team for consistent voice and accuracy.

QualificationsRequirements

• Native proficiency in Greenlandic with excellent command of English
• Proven experience in fluid, culturally-adapted translations
• Familiarity with keyword research (SEO optimization) is a plus
• Ability to create original, engaging ad copy (preferred, but not required)
• Willingness to complete a short translation sample (approx. 160 words)
• Ability to sign and comply with Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA)
