Job description: An established multinational is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support its Engineering Stores operation in Fermoy. This is not a standard stores role – it requires a high level of technical understanding of MRO parts, obsolescence management, and vendor engagement.Key Responsibilities:Review and manage reports on obsolete and at-risk MRO partsLiaise with OEM and OCM suppliers to source parts or identify alternativesBuild and maintain a register of obsolete parts and provide sourcing optionsSupport engineering teams by supplying specification packs and quotationsAssist in risk assessments and potential stockpiling decisionsMaintain up-to-date documentation and systems dataWhat We’re Looking For:4+ years’ experience in a similar inventory or engineering stores roleStrong knowledge of MRO parts and their functionExperience working within a cGMP environmentFamiliarity with systems such as SAP, Ariba, or MaximoExcellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to interpret part specs and handle technical engineering queriesDesirable:Background in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectorsThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a technically focused logistics position within a regulated, high-performing environment.Please apply with your up to date CV and for any questions contact Jason Devlin at FRS Recruitment.
