We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to work in our busy Merthyr Tydfil site. This is a hybrid vacancy with the option to work from home 2 days per week.Requirements:

• Monthly reporting of actual v budget fixed costs and variance explanation in line with group deadlines
• Reconciliation of balance sheet, raising & posting of accruals & prepayments supporting the month end close process
• Ensure fixed cost actuals, budgets and forecasts are owned by budget holders
• Assist the preparation of annual fixed cost budget
• Strong proactive business engagement to ensure accurate and reliable results
• Prepare forward looking forecasts for the site
• Supervision of the Purchase Ledger team, to ensure timely & accurate processing of invoices & payments.
• Ensure a sound financial control environment
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure accuracy of reporting data
• Business partner with Operations team
• Respond promptly to queries from business representatives
• Share critical information in a timely and appropriate manner
• Evaluate and flag risks and opportunities to help the business understand and mitigate/maximise these
