As a leading privately-owned company in Munster, our client prides themselves on their technical expertise, customer focus and commitment to quality. They are partners with market leading suppliers.The Opportunity:We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Managing Director to lead our company into its next phase of growth and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational efficiency, financialperformance and team leadership of the business. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a successful and respected organisation within a growing sector.Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a clear strategic vision for growth and market leadership, monitoring industry trends and translating plans into KPIs.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all operations (project delivery, installation, maintenance, supply chain), ensuring efficient processes, quality, customer satisfaction, health & safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Financial Performance: Drive financial accountability, manage budgets and forecasts, ensure accurate reporting, implement cost efficiencies and oversee pricing for commercial
  • Technical competence: To understand complex engineering systems, guide strategic decisions, engage credibly with technical teams and to bridge the gap between technical execution and business objectives.
  • Procurement expertise: Navigate and tender for work with global companies by understanding their complex procurement and tendering requirements, to position the business competitively, building credibility and securing high-value contracts.
  • Team Leadership s Development: Lead and inspire a 25-person team, fostering a positive culture, developing talent and promoting effective communication.
  • Commercial Excellence: Cultivate key relationships, drive a customer-centric approach, identify new business, oversee sales/marketing and represent the company

Qualifications s Experience:

  • Proven senior leadership (MD, GM, or similar) in a technical services or engineering SME environment, or Business Unit Leader in a Large Organisation.
  • Strongly prefer experience in HVAC, refrigeration, sustainable heating & cooling or related building
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, reporting, profitability).
  • Demonstrated strategic planning and growth
  • Excellent leadership, operational, communication, negotiation and commercial
  • Relevant third-level qualification (business, engineering, or related); Chartered status
  • Experience in working with Pharma / GMP clients would be an advantage.
