Job description: We are looking for a Market Risk Quant to join our Risk & Compliance team in Copenhagen.We offer you an opportunity to become an expert in the field of market and investment risk harnessing the state-of-the-art approaches in quantitative analytics. As of year-end 2024 Novo Holdings had total Assets under Management of EUR 142bn.The JobAs a Market Risk Quant, you will join our team based in Copenhagen and drive the development of the analytical platform to support our key strategic initiatives. You will report to the Head of Risk & Compliance.Your main tasks will be to:

  • Utilize advanced quantitative methods to assess portfolio risk and performance
  • Enable efficient monitoring of portfolio performance and risk metrics
  • Collaborate with our digital team to industrialize our analytical and reporting tools
  • Provide risk and performance related insights and recommendations to the Head of Risk & Compliance
  • Support the preparation of detailed risk and performance reports
  • Collaborate with investment teams on risk assessments and analysis
  • Stay updated on academic research and industry best practices in financial risk management

  • MSc or PhD in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or other relevant university degree
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience post degree ideally in a financial institution
  • Strong financial markets understanding, including asset allocation theory
  • Proficient with data analysis and programming
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
