As part of Safety Medical Devices, you and your 7 colleagues are responsible for post-market surveillance activities, clinical evaluations, periodic reports and vigilance reporting for Ferring’s medical devices and combination products.We are part of Global Safety with more than 70 international employees responsible for the surveillance of all Ferring’s medicinal products, combination products and medical devices.Our key focus is safeguarding patients and ensuring regulatory compliance. As a Medical Device Safety Medical Writer, your overall responsibility is to ensure that safety-related documentation for medical devices and combination products is scientifically accurate, regulatory-compliant, and clearly communicated to various stakeholders.Your tasks will cover a wide range of responsibilities like:conduct systematic searches in articles to extract and write reviews that support clinical and safety evaluationsdrive the preparation of clinical and post-market periodic reports including clinical evaluation plans/reports (CEP/CER/SSCP), PMS plans/reports and Period Safety Update Reports (PSUR).participating in Medical Device R&D projectspreparing critical documents such as Health Hazard Evaluations.Joining us in Safety Medical Devices will allow you to grow your knowledge and career within medical devices and drug-device combination products.Our spectacular and state-of-the-art International PharmaScience Center (IPC) in Copenhagen will be your primary workplace.Behind our innovation…There’s youAs you play a key role in upholding our license to operate, you must have a genuine quality mindset and attention to detail. Strong stakeholder management skills in a highly multicultural and interdisciplinary setting are essential.Additionally, you have:extensive experience medical device/medtech industry with knowledge of EU MDR requirements.strong competencies in international, cross-functional collaborationa relevant PhD degree, e.g. M. Sc. Human Biology, Biomedical Engineering or Medicineexcellent communication skills both in written and spoken English at a professional level.Seniority will be assessed based on your experience and qualifications.People come first at Ferring
