Job description: Office Administrator (Maternity Cover – Fixed Term Contract)Location: Belmullet (Onsite)Our client is a long-established, family-run company operating in the waste management sector. Serving domestic, commercial, industrial, and construction clients, they provide comprehensive waste collection and disposal services for both solid and liquid waste. With a team of over 80 staff and ongoing investment in growth, they are now seeking an experienced and professional Office Administrator to join their team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis.Reporting To:

  • Business Services Manager
  • Business Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the waste manifest (Excel-based).
  • Prepare weekly and monthly work reports.
  • Administer all waste records, including relevant dockets and forms.
  • Ensure efficient filing of all records.
  • Maintain EPA waste records through an on-site paper-based filing system.
  • Manage access permits and journey management plans for employees and contractors.
  • Verify and approve third-party invoices and issue purchase orders.
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and manage purchase order process.
  • Verify monthly invoices from external suppliers.
  • Attend monthly health, safety & environmental (HSE) meetings.
  • Collaborate with the on-site environmental, health & safety (EHS) team.
  • Prepare schedules and source Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) as needed for hazardous waste collections.
  • Provide administrative support to the on-site operations team.
