With more than 140 years of experience and 5,200 highly skilled professionals, we bring tailor-made solutions, innovation and new technologies to our customers’ projects, ensuring that they are performed safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.Department Description and responsibilitiesAs an Online Surveyor you will support the team with advanced remote surveying and data collection efforts for the company’s projects.Primary Tasks and responsibilitiesResponsible for online survey activities on board our offshore vessels.
Collect data from multiple survey sensors and monitor all positioning systems on board the offshore vessel.
Assist with the administration related to daily activities and calibrations.
Assist in the preparation of survey as-built deliverables.
Report to the offshore survey Party Chief, who oversees daily survey operations on board the vessel.Technical profile requirements7 years experience as a Surveyor in marine or construction environments.
Strong knowledge of hydrographic survey techniques and equipment.
Experience with offshore navigation and positioning systems.
Additional experience with subsea acoustic positioning systems and multibeam.Non-Technical profile requirementsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate results.
Willingness to work in various locations and adapt to project-specific requirementsMethodology/Certification requirementsBachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.

NeboshLanguage proficiencies:Fluent speaking and writing English, proficiency in other languages is a major plus.
