Job description: FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a hybrid role based in Kildare, offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic organisation during a key transition period.Role Overview:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full payroll function while reviewing and streamlining current payroll processes. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in payroll who can bring fresh insight and operational improvements.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with Irish payroll legislation and internal controlsReview current payroll systems and procedures to identify efficiencies and recommend improvementsEnsure accurate processing of statutory deductions (PAYE, PRSI, USC) and employee benefitsAddress payroll queries and liaise with internal departments and external providersMaintain GDPR-compliant payroll records and documentationPrepare payroll reports and ensure timely submissions to RevenueSupport the finance and HR teams during the transition periodCandidate Requirements:Previous experience in a payroll management role, ideally in a medium-to-large organisationIn-depth knowledge of Irish payroll legislationDemonstrated experience reviewing and improving payroll systems and processes
