Job description: Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for your next challenge? We are currently seeking a Payroll Manager on a 3-month temporary contract. This role is ideal for a seasoned expert who can hit the ground running and ensure smooth payroll operations. As Payroll Manager, you will take ownership of the full payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing for our workforce. This is a standalone role, requiring someone confident in their knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, systems, and best practicesLocation: Kildare
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: €60,000-€65,000 (DOE)
Duration: 3 months
Type: Full-time, TemporaryKey Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll, including salaried and hourly staff
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and Revenue reporting requirements
• Process benefits, commissions, pensions, tax deductions, and adjustments
• Liaise with HR, finance, and external providers to resolve queries and provide accurate reporting
• Support year-end processes and audits as required
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices during your tenure

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior payroll role (ideally 5+ years)
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and best practices
• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Sage, Micropay, BrightPay, etc.)
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Available for immediate start
