Job description: Offer DescriptionYour ResponsibilitiesWe would be delighted if you became part of our team at the Institute for Electricity Economics and Energy Innovation. Come and work with us as you pursue your PhD in modeling of energy systems on the path towards a sustainable future. The position is initially limited to 6 months, but can be extended (there is funding for up to 4 years).You can expect:
Mathematical optimisation (e.g. linear programming, mixed integer programming),
Modelling of energy systems, Data science and machine learning (e.g. time series aggregation, clustering, etc.),
Techno-economic analyses * Scientific publications and participation in national/international journals and conferences
Your Profile
Admission RequirementsCompleted Master’s or DI degree (at the time of starting) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, operations research, mathematics or a related engineering programme.We Offer
We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52,007.20 for a fulltime position.
