Job description: Large Midlands based production company currently recruiting for a hands-on Projects Engineer to lead factory improvement and maintenance projects in a modern, state-of-the-art production facility.Reporting to the Engineering Manager you’ll manage a small team of welders and electricians, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.As Project Engineer you job will include:

• Lead a team of fabrication welders and electricians
• Plan and oversee CapEx projects from start to finish
• Ensure health & safety compliance across all works
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate upgrades smoothly
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot fabrication and electrical issues
• Coordinate external contractors where needed
• Track budgets, timelines, and document all project activity

What You Bring:

• Experience managing CapEx or engineering projects in industrial or manufacturing environments
• A background in stainless steel fabrication, welding, and electrical systems would be highly advantageous
• Confident using AutoCAD and MS Office
• Proven leadership experience with excellent communication and planning skills
• Relevant technical qualification
