Job description: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Quality Inspector (SQI) to oversee and monitor subcontractor activities related to mechanical and electrical works on-site. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all works meet project quality requirements, regulatory standards, and are delivered in accordance with applicable European lawsKey Responsibilities:

• Monitor and inspect on-site mechanical and electrical construction activities for compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, client representatives, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies including the NOBO agency.
• Identify and report any deviations, discrepancies, or non-conformances related to quality and oversee necessary corrective actions.
• Escalate quality concerns that may justify a “HOLD” status on work to the Site Quality Manager without delay.
• Maintain thorough documentation of inspections, observations, and actions via daily inspection reports.
• Support project quality assurance initiatives and contribute to continual improvement efforts on-site.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accurate record-keeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Previous experience in a similar role within construction or industrial project environments is highly advantageous.
