Job description: Key Responsibilities1) CE Regional CIO function:

• Definition of the target IT architecture landscape for CE and driving transformation towards it, to ensure both robust support for the business as well as harmonization of the landscape across the Region and productivity of the assets.
• IT effectiveness – driving the transformations leading to IT cost savings. Impacting OE P&L by active steering of IT expenses and IT budgets.
• Implementation of IT security standards defined by the Group IT and Security.
• Defining and steering of the IT implementation of the Regional and Group initiatives.
• Managing key IT personnel in the region (OE CIOs), including target definition, feedback dialogues and assesment
• Definition of the key performance indicators for IT.
• Alignment with management of the Group to properly reflect Group strategy in the Regional IT projects. Ensuring alignment and implementation of future Group and Regional strategies.
• Act as central point of contact for Group IT as well as for the CE OEs IT functions
• OE governance and oversight: monitor OE adherence to IT related internal rules:

• Participate in all OE ITSB meetings
• Perform regular review of IT compliance self-assessments,
• Regular monitoring of KPI and targets for CIOs

2) CIO Function of Allianz Holding eins GmbH

• Drives the implementation of the IT Strategy
• Ensures the implementation of IT-related requirements in the operational and organizational setup of the IT Function
• Gathers strategic evolution demands for the architecture
• Defines together with the Business Owners the IT Projects implementing relevant Business Transformation
• Ensures monitoring of the provider’s performance with respect to fulfilment of SLAs
• Ensures identification of IT-related Information Risks accounting for provider’s control assurance, and the proper management of these risks
• Ensure compliance of the organizational and operational structure of IT with respect to internal and external regulations
• Manage the IT function of AZH1

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• Master’s degree in IT scientists or economy
• Minimum of ten year of experience of management of IT in the insurance industry
• Very strong knowledge of Project Management and ITSM area
• Experience in budgeting and IT economics
• Strong analytical and communications skills
• Good command of English both orally and in writing.
• Basic familiarity with available AI tools such as ChatG

For this position we offer a yearly gross salary of at least EUR 130.000 gross (full-time basis).
