Job description: Department of Food and Resource Economics invites applicants for a research assistant position to support the integrated economic and ecological modelling work in the Department. In this position, you will contribute to the further development of existing environmental-economic models by support to the development of new modelling platforms at IFRO. The research assistant’s duties will include support on data analysis and management, translation of programming code between software packages and establishment of a data platform for integrated economic and ecological modelling researchExperience with programming languages such as Matlab, R and Python is a requirement for the position and experience with Geographical Information Systems and VBA and SQL literacy is an advantage. Fluent written and spoken English and Danish in a requirement for the position.Our group and research- and what do we offer?

Successful applicants need strong modelling, data management, data analysis and programming skills from an MSc degree in civil engineering, data science or similar.Terms of employment
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.Questions
