Job description: Excellent opportunity for an RTR Accountant to join our client a leading multinational pharmaceutical company based in South Dublin on a 6 month contract basis with a strong view to permanency for the right candidate. Reporting into the RTR Manager the successful candidate will be working across month end responsibilities for two entities Responsibility for daily and monthly financial activity under US GAAP.The ideal candidate would be immediately available with 2-3 years experience in a multinational organisation with strong month end accounting skills.Key Responsibilities

• Month-end journal preparation, analysis, and posting
• Overseeing day-to-day and month-end financial operations in line with US GAAP
• Reviewing and analysing balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure reporting deadlines are met
• Ensuring internal and external audits are completed within required time frames
• Collaborating with internal teams to support projects arising from accounting changes, industry updates, or process improvements

Candidate Requirements:

• Available to start immediately
• Fully qualified accountant or part-qualified with solid financial accounting background
• Prior experience in a multinational environment
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with US GAAP
• Proficient in IT systems and tools
