Job description: 📈 Sales Planning & Forecasting AnalystJoin a fast-paced and commercially critical team at AML, where Sales Planning is the central link between Gaydon and our global dealer network. In this influential role, your work will directly inform strategic decisions at the highest level, helping to shape operations, drive performance, and improve the accuracy of commercial data across the business.🛠️ Role Overview As part of the Sales Planning team, you will own and evolve our volume planning and forecasting capabilities. You’ll work on tracking current performance against budget for the current year, along with a 24-month planning horizon, feeding into medium- and long-term business plans, and delivering insight-rich reports to senior leaders across Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain functions. You’ll also spearhead improvements in data reliability and reporting infrastructure, helping deliver a best-in-class analytical framework.Expect to lead reporting suite development using Tableau, manage transitions from legacy platforms with IT and Production teams, and represent Commercial Sales in key cross-functional initiatives. You’ll translate data into clear insights for S&OP and Board presentations-making a measurable impact at the highest level.🧠 Your Key Responsibilities

• Deliver robust forecasting and planning reports aligned to business objectives
• Own the monthly reporting of business performance against key sales metrics
• Support strategic scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis
• Maintain and evolve dashboards for performance tracking and stakeholder reporting
• Improve ownership and accuracy of commercial data across departments
• Analyse regional data inputs to develop executive-level recommendations
• Represent Commercial Sales in system transitions, ensuring future scalability
• Collaborate across Product Strategy, Marketing, Finance, IT, Manufacturing and Retail functions
