Join us in a world where excellence knows no boundaries!Job DescriptionFor one of our teams based in Vienna we are currently looking to hire a Scientist with a focus on analytical sample testing and assay setup. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Development, optimization, and troubleshooting of ELISA methods on the TECAN system
- Execution of in-process sample testing using ELISA
- Analysis of process development samples via HPLC and activity-based assays
- Preparation of analytical documentation including method validation protocols and reports (in English)
- Secondary review of analytical data and methods, including ELISA, HPLC, electrophoresis, total protein, and activity assays
- Oversight and maintenance of the TECAN system
- Support for material ordering and asset database management
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Analytical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or Food Chemistry
- Industry experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated laboratory environment
- Hands-on expertise in analytical techniques such as ELISA, HPLC, and electrophoresis
- Practical experience with TECAN systems, including assay setup and operation
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot analytical methods independently
- Proficiency in technical documentation, including scientific writing for reports, protocols, or publications
- Ability to plan, execute, and communicate results independently, using tools like protocols, reports, and PowerPoint presentations
- Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken
