Job description: Role Overview:We are looking for a seasoned Senior Automation QA / SDET with strong programming and automation skills to build and maintain scalable, robust test frameworks. The ideal candidate should have experience in both UI and API test automation, with a keen eye for detail, solid debugging ability, and the drive to ensure product quality throughout the SDLC.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium or Playwright.
• Write high-quality test scripts to validate both UI and API layers across multiple systems and platforms.
• Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to build efficient, maintainable automation solutions (preferably in C#, though other languages like Java or Python are also acceptable).
• Analyze and optimize test suite performance, identifying areas of improvement to reduce execution time and improve stability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix automation script issues quickly and effectively.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and manage test execution and reporting through platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management and collaboration.
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams, collaborating with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and early defect detection.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in test automation/SDET roles.
• Strong hands-on programming skills with a solid understanding of OOP concepts (C# preferred, but Java/JavaScript acceptable).
• Expertise in building and maintaining UI/Web automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.
• Experience in API test automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD integration, test execution pipelines, and automation reporting.
• Proficient in Git or other version control systems.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in cross-functional Agile teams.
