Job description: Role Overview:We are looking for a seasoned Senior Automation QA / SDET with strong programming and automation skills to build and maintain scalable, robust test frameworks. The ideal candidate should have experience in both UI and API test automation, with a keen eye for detail, solid debugging ability, and the drive to ensure product quality throughout the SDLC.Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium or Playwright.
Write high-quality test scripts to validate both UI and API layers across multiple systems and platforms.
Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to build efficient, maintainable automation solutions (preferably in C#, though other languages like Java or Python are also acceptable).
Analyze and optimize test suite performance, identifying areas of improvement to reduce execution time and improve stability.
Debug, troubleshoot, and fix automation script issues quickly and effectively.
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and manage test execution and reporting through platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management and collaboration.
Work in Agile/Scrum teams, collaborating with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and early defect detection.
Required Skills & Experience:
6+ years of experience in test automation/SDET roles.
Strong hands-on programming skills with a solid understanding of OOP concepts (C# preferred, but Java/JavaScript acceptable).
Expertise in building and maintaining UI/Web automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.
Experience in API test automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
Experience with CI/CD integration, test execution pipelines, and automation reporting.
Proficient in Git or other version control systems.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration in cross-functional Agile teams.
