Job description: A great opportunity to recruit a Senior Business Planning Manager based near London BridgeHave you experience developing and implementing business strategy?Are you able to develop high-quality business plans based on high-quality analysis?If yes to the above please read on:-About the role:-To lead on the development and implementation of a longer term, and holistic, GTR business strategy across Southern, Thameslink, Great Northern and Gatwick Express. This will embed longer term planning horizons into the future direction of GTR.With your excellent communication and collaboration skills, the role-holder will work with senior leaders from across GTR, as well as with colleagues from the Department for Transport (DfT) and Network Rail to develop and implement an annual business plan (ABP) that will be approved by the board of directors and DfT.You will bring your analytical skills, gained through similar roles or from experience in economic analysis or transport planning, to ensure the plans we put forwards in the ABP are aligned to the wider GTR strategy of removing the financial subsidy GTR currently requires from government, delivering improved operational performance and delivering improved outcomes for customers.Full JD attached.

Expected salary: £81510 per year
