The role also assumes responsibility for the statutory compliance process for each of the designated entities, including the preparation of statutory accounts and support in the preparation of financial statements. Working alongside key stakeholders in reporting, legal, tax, treasury, our shared services team based in China, this role bears ultimate accountability for end-to-end compliance accounting. This represents an incredible opportunity for a highly motivated accountant to use their knowledge and experience to shape the future of SHEIN finance.Job Responsibilities

• Deliver management reports including commentary on P&L and balance sheet movements.
• Prepare balance sheet accounts reconciliations.
• Prepare statutory accounts for Irish entities and support in the preparation of financial statements.
• Liaise with audit teams ensuring timely and accurate completion of all statutory obligations.
• Develop a deep understanding of the business drivers behind company performance.
• Consistently drive efficiency and process improvements.
• Provide support to finance management as needed. This includes ad hoc financial analysis, technical analysis and special projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal global stakeholders including Tax, Treasury, Legal, Shared Services Centre to mitigate risk to the enterprise.

Minimum Requirements

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
• 3+ years relevant PQE with fast-growing, multi-national company.
• Experience with working in a multi-currency, multi-GAAP environment.
• Experience in statutory reporting.
• Proven record of process improvement.
• Flexible and enthusiastic, with a positive “can-do” attitude.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong cultural awareness and cross-cultural competence.

Preferred Requirements

• Excellent team player who is adept at working as part of a larger team located in different locations.

Good knowledge of IFRS. * Exposure to Oracle Financials and/or other ERP solutions is an advantage.

• Motivated self-starter with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results.
• Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision.
• Ability to quickly establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
• Commercial awareness with ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of wider business factors.
• Ability to adapt to an evolving landscape and an appetite to help shape the future of your role.
• Proficiency in Chinese Language would be an advantage.
