It enables us to keep improving our Product Maintenance, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and Design for Assembly (DFA) processes, which you will also be a part of.As our new Senior Mechanical Engineer at FalCom, your tasks will vary with exposure to many different projects and lifecycle stages of the development. Sometimes you might be prototyping and thinking about concepts for future products while also working on problem-solving processes for existing products in the market.Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:Design and develop integrated products using PTC CREOCreate prototypes and concepts, with our advanced prototype centerMaturing products in collaboration with suppliers and productionDocumentation of parts, including BOMs, in our ERP systemProduct verification, with internal and external test facilitiesHandover to productionManaging engineering change ordersExamples of engineering technologies in your daily work:Injection molding of plasticsPressure molding of metalMachined itemsSheet metal, including surface treatmentIntegrating hardware in mechanical designEnsuring a good User InterfaceAnalyzing user needs and developing solutionsTo thrive in this position, we envision that you possess:Approximately 3+ years of engineering experienceAn interest in constructing reliable products that enable robust and dependable communication in critical situationsBroad mechanical toolbox and interest in 3D-design, material properties, and product environmental testing (to ensure that our products function well under all conditions)We encourage you to apply,Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we will gladly receive your application if you think you have transferable skills.
