We believe in fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment where every team member can thrive and contribute to our shared success.About the roleAs a Senior MIS Support Officer, you will play a crucial role providing guidance and support to School users and ensuring best practice and Dept for Education statutory requirements are met. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide timely services to customers, including telephone and remote support
  • Responsible for all areas in the suite of software related to Schools MIS; specifically, Arbor, Bromcom & SIMS, but not limited to.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team and other services to deliver best practice
  • Maintain an awareness of educational developments including government and Local Authority initiatives
  • Provide a practical and theoretical understanding to solve complex problems;
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, procedures and training
  • Prepare and execute training events, workshops or Webinars
  • Project lead, as directed

FixedAs a ‘fixed’ worker, you’ll spend most of your time in the same location, which will likely be a fixed office or location where your role is performed. Typically, you’ll be based in the same location as the rest of your team, because you provide a particular service from that fixed location or need access to information there.About youYou are a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in Schools MIS. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A thorough understanding of the Department for Education and Buckinghamshire Council statutory obligations relating to schools. Expected salary: £37533 – 39336 per year
