- This role can be done in a fully remote working model.
- The Data Semantics initiative of the customer in process industry is an integral part of their Data & AI Strategy, focusing on the integration and orchestration of ontologies to enhance their internal data ecosystem.
- Central goal is developing a common Data Language with a robust ontology framework that supports decision-making and fosters innovation across the organization.
- As the Senior Ontology Expert, the consultant (f/m/d) will be instrumental in the design and coordination of upper-level ontologies based on the W3C open standard, ensuring alignment with specific business domain ontologies.
- Consultant’s (f/m/d) main responsibility will be to oversee the technical integration of ontologies into customers business processes.
- Consultant (f/m/d) will work closely with subject matter experts across various business sectors and functions to implement a unified data language throughout company.
- Consultant (f/m/d) will manage the ontology lifecycle and ensure the successful deployment of ontology solutions.
- This role includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to collect requirements, offer insights on best practices, and promote knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Additionally, the consultant (f/m/d) will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing ontology practices, ensuring they evolve with changing business demands and technological progress.
AnforderungenSkills: Senior Ontologist (f/m/d) Process Industry and IT Technology
- At least 5 years of experience in ontology development and management, preferably in a global environment.
- Proficient in applying W3C open standards for building and maintaining ontologies.
- Proficient in ontology modeling tools as well as Semantic Web technologies (e.g., RDF, OWL), familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective ontology solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Passion for driving innovation and improvement in a dynamic environment, experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sectors is preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a global matrix environment, influencing stakeholders and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
- We consider it a plus if you bring any relevant experience in the areas of Finance, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain.
