Job description: Senior Payroll SpecialistWe’re thrilled to be partnering with a progressive, client-centric firm in Waterford to recruit a Senior Payroll Specialist — someone who’s not just looking for a job, but for a team, a future, and a role where they can make real impact.This is more than just processing numbers. It’s about building client relationships and owning the payroll function from start to finish. With full training provided and a flexible hybrid setup after training completion, this opportunity offers both structure and autonomy in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end payrolls accurately and on time.
• Be a trusted point of contact for client payroll queries.
• Manage new hire set-ups and employee terminations.
• Ensure all relevant data is collected and submitted — including PSRs to Revenue.
• Work collaboratively with the team while maintaining a high standard of compliance and client care.
• Pull and work with data from clock-in systems (experience with this is a plus!).

What We’re Looking For

• 2 + years’ hands-on payroll experience.
• A solid understanding of Irish payroll legislation and processes.
• Ideally IPASS qualified (but not essential).
• Someone detail-oriented, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• A confident communicator who genuinely enjoys working with people.
• A team player with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
