Job description: Job Description Summary The Senior Revenue Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Novartis NOCC R2R team by ensuring the delivery of high-quality services across Novartis countries. This role involves maintaining robust processes, comprehensive documentation, and compliance with relevant standards, while also driving continuous improvement projects to optimize end-to-end processes across Novartis countries.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Implement and uphold robust safeguards and controls over the revenue process in alignment with the Financial Controls Framework.

• Review and reconcile revenue deduction accruals and related accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with the International accounting standards (IFRS).

• Understand various business models to apply the correct accounting policies for revenue transactions.

• Participate in IT projects aimed at streamlining revenue transactions in SAP, improving efficiency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to continually analyze, challenge and gain a deep understanding of revenue transactions.

• Conduct month-end and quarterly balance sheet reviews with the CFO and Financial Reporting & Accounting (FRA) Heads, focusing on revenue accruals and Gross-to-Net (G2N) movements.

• Act as the business partner for all revenue-related inquiries.

Key Requirements:

• University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance related fields

• Relevant years of experience in relevant finance roles

• Strong knowledge and understanding of IFRS

• SAP knowledge: experience with SAP FI and BI

• Fluent in English both written and spoken, excellent communication skills

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/CPA/ ACCA) preferred

• Advisory-audit experience at an audit accounting firm preferred
