In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the leadership’s decision-making process by ensuring accurate and fair valuations of the investments in Novo Holdings’ diverse portfolio. In addition to the Novo Group companies, our growing investment portfolio of more than DKK 200 billion spans across life science companies at all stages of development, as well as a wide selection of public and private equities, bonds, real estate, and infrastructure investments.This is a 12-15 month temporary position covering parental leave in the team from September 2025. While the role is defined as temporary, there may be potential for a longer-term opportunity, depending on future organisational needs.Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the recurring fair value assessment process, conducting valuations in close collaboration with the investment teams, ensuring compliance with Novo Holdings’ standards and best practices.
  • Providing expert valuation and financial modelling support to our investment teams on both existing and potential new investments.
  • Developing and refining our valuation model templates to ensure reliable and consistent valuations.
  • Preparing valuation reports, presenting results and insights to relevant stakeholders, addressing any enquiries and providing clear explanations to any questions.
  • Mentoring and guiding team members, sharing expertise, and ensuring the consistent application of best practices.

  • A relevant Master of Science degree.
  • At least 3 years relevant experience, preferably with multiple years as a Valuation Specialist.
  • Proven ability to conduct independent valuation analysis with sound judgment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and in utilising financial software, databases and tools (e.g. S&P Capital IQ) to gather, analyse, and interpret financial data.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
