It may include guiding junior team members or managing complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, executing strategic sales initiatives, and closing deals. The role requires a balanced approach, with approximately 50% of time spent in the field and 50% in the office.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining Senior/C-Suite level relationships with strategic partners and working with them to identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Develops and drives appropriate portfolio management strategy in collaboration with the Business Units to expand and protect market share, optimize pricing strategy, and build long-term contractual agreements and relationships with clients and strategic partners
  • Responsible for understanding the assigned account’s strategic priorities and developing appropriate value-added programs for each account
  • Develops, communicates, and implements business plans to achieve strategic target business results
  • Identifies and develops ongoing mutual opportunities for sales growth with key strategic accounts.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • At least 4 years of experience in the field in MedTech
  • Autonomy: Manages experienced sales professionals who exercise latitude and independence in handling accounts, providing direct sales, tactical and / or operational leadership. Leverages internal processes in support of sales representatives and selling activities
  • Organizational Impact: Establishes direct sales and operational plans with direct impact on function results, including target revenue, resource allocation, expenditures and future business opportunities. Is accountable for execution and implementation of a number of significant business transactions or projects. Ensures individual and team progress are monitored and reviewed
  • Innovation and Complexity: Provides market or operational insights. Problems and issues faced are complex, difficult and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem. Makes moderate to significant improvements of processes, policies and / or products to enhance performance of entire sales team
  • Communication and Influence: Communicates with internal and external customers and vendors regarding ongoing operations. Uses information exchange, influence and active persuasion without direct exercise of command to gain cooperation of other parties.
