Job description: We’re looking for someone to play a key role in supporting a diverse team in the scaling up of our approach to tackling physical inactivity and participation inequalities through a whole system place-based approach supporting areas of greatest need.You will be responsible for:

• Leading a geographical cluster of place partnerships (East of England) working with and through Active Partnerships into places engaging Local Authority, voluntary and third sector organisations to tackle physical inactivity and associated inequalities through our place model.

• Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to provide strategic direction and positioning of our place work in a changing landscape of devolution and local government reform.

• Ensuring tactical deployment of resources and opportunities are fully maximised in support of our ambition in “Uniting the Movement” (our 10 yr vision) by being the key link between Active Partnerships, their place partners and cross organisational teams in Sport England.
