Your expertise will help create pathways for collaboration that drive growth, and enhance our market presence.The role will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark and will report directly to the Senior Director Commercial Innovation.The PositionAs a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for identifying trends and opportunities for strategic partnerships. In addition, you will be responsible to discover, evaluate and drive new strategic opportunities, including pipeline projects and emerging technologies. Moreover, you will be responsible to lead negotiations and close deals to access external innovations.You main Accountabilities will be to:Identify, develop, implement, and manage strategic business development partnerships that align with Novo Nordisk’s business objectivesLead and drive innovation and business development initiatives that support our mission to improve patient outcomesBuild and maintain stakeholder relationshipsAssess new therapy areas and analyse market trends to identify opportunities for diversification and market share gainDemonstrate subject matter knowledgeQualificationsAs a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you need to have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. In addition, you need to have 5+ years of experience in business development. If you have experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry it might be an asset.To be successful in this role, you need to have:A proven track record in negotiating and closing external innovation dealsExperience in developing strategic business plans and identifying new market opportunitiesAn understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including trends and challenges facing the industry.Danish language skills preferred – professional working levelOn the personal level we expect you to have excellent communication skills, be execution oriented, and have consumer mindset.This isn’t your typical sales role.
