In this exciting role, you will, together with the Head of Tax Nordics for the Siemens Energy Group, be responsible for all tax matters for Siemens Gamesa in Denmark. You’ll be taking an active role in a wide range of Danish and international corporate tax matters, from corporate income tax and VAT compliance and transfer pricing to tax audits and tax advisory to the business. The role has a broad scope and is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting tax to the wider business in an international context while also ensuring full tax compliance. You’ll be working closely with the Nordic tax team (7 people) as well as the global tax team and external advisors.How You’ll Make an ImpactYour expertise will ensure compliance with national and international tax regulations while providing valuable insights to support our business initiatives. Below are the key tasks you will be responsible for:

• Managing the direct and indirect tax compliance for Siemens Gamesa Denmark in close cooperation with our tax compliance partners including Danish joint tax filings.
• Ensuring Transfer Pricing documentation is prepared and maintained – both in-house and outsourced.
• Advising the business on Danish and international projects, including among other things withholding tax matters and permanent establishment considerations.
• Assisting in tax audits and correspondence with the Danish tax authorities
• Process optimizing and digitalization

What You BringWe are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in tax. The ideal candidate has professional experience in international environments and a thorough understanding of Danish tax law.

• At least 5 years of proven experience as a tax consultant, tax manager, or in a similar role, including either managing a team (either within a company or at a Big 4 firm) or overseeing a group of external advisors.

• Strong background in Danish tax compliance; experience with international tax matters is a plus
• Relevant master’s degree in cand.merc.jur, cand.merc.aud, or equivalent experience accepted
• Excellent communication skills for effective dialogue with tax authorities and collaborators both within and outside the organization
• Analytical approach for developing internal controls and processes
