As a hands-on leader, you’ll not only oversee a designated product group but also actively engage with your team, offering direct support and fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.Product Development OversightAnother responsibility of this role will be to oversee the end-to-end product development process from concept through final pre-production approval. This involves collaborating with design to ensure creative vision is maintained while ensuring technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Ensuring technical packages (tech packs), BOMs, fit comments, and revisions are accurate and up-to-date throughout the development cycle as well as ensuring fit & quality standards.Cross-Functional CollaborationIn this role you’ll work closely with design, product management, merchandising, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to align on product objectives.Vendor & Supplier CommunicationYou’ll be the key liaison with external suppliers and manufacturing partners to manage sample development, cost negotiations, and production feasibility along with the buying team.EXPERIENCEYour areas of knowledge and expertisethat matter most for this role:

  • 6+ years of experience in product development, including, at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, costing and production, especially in the premium & sport segment.
  • Provide technical guidance to design and development teams to translate creative concepts into feasible, high-quality products.
  • Experience working with international vendors (e.g., Asia, Europe) and proficient in MS Office; skilled in Adobe Illustrator, PLM system knowledge and 3D development knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Hands-on and motivating leadership skills to drive a high-performing development and pattern team.
