Job description: Are you an experienced Team Manager – Future Directions (Care Leaving Service) TeamDo you have a passion for helping others?If so, Randstad is recruiting for a Team Manager to join the Barnsley Council – Future Directions (Care Leaving Service) TeamThis is a full-time role offering up to £40 per hour.Here’s the Role:

• Providing robust line management, supervision, and professional development for your team.
• Overseeing and quality-assuring assessments, pathway plans, and interventions for care leavers, ensuring they meet statutory requirements and best practice standards.
• Managing complex cases, providing expert advice and decision-making to achieve positive outcomes for young people.
• Monitoring team performance, managing budgets effectively, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000.
• Championing the voice of care leavers, ensuring their participation and feedback actively shape service delivery and improvement.
• Building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with partner agencies, including housing, education, health, and employment services.
• Contributing to the strategic development of the service, identifying innovative approaches to support care leavers.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS

Experience:

• Children Social Work
