Job description: Excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified Accountant to get experience working in a global shared services centre within RTR team. It is a full time role, on a 5 month temporary contract based in Dublin South. The team is based on-site 4 days and 1 day from home and enjoy flexible start and finish times.Duties & Responsibilities of Accountant:Responsibility for daily and monthly financial activity under US GAAPPreparation, analysis and posting of journals at month endReview and analysis of balance sheet reconciliationsEnsure timely completion of Internal and External auditsPerform analytics to ensure the accuracy of financial informationOngoing work with internal teams to support project needs arising from new accounting and industry developments or process gapsCoordination with other internal parties meet various reporting deadlineReview and reconciliation of inter-company accounts, involving communication with other Abbott business locations worldwideReview of multi-currency bank reconciliationsComplete SOX controls in line with control matrixIdeal experience of Accountant:Qualified or part-qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA;2- 3 years’ experience, preferably with Shared Service Centre/multinational organisation, but not essentialSAP or other major ERP Systems experience is desirableStrong Excel skills are requiredExcellent communication skills, attention to detail and flexibility required​For more information or a confidential discussion about this Temporary Accountant role, you can contact Michelle Miley090 6450667
