Job description: We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join their precision engineering team. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong CNC and manual machining skills, used to working to tight tolerances on high-spec injection moulds and automation components.Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture, repair, and maintain hot/cold runner injection moulds and precision tooling.
• Operate and program CNC mills, lathes, EDM wire/sinker machines.
• Use manual equipment (grinders, lathes, welders, drills, etc.) for finishing and fitting.
• Troubleshoot tool breakdowns with minimal downtime.
• Support tooling for new product launches .

What You’ll Need:

• 2–5+ years’ toolroom experience post-apprenticeship.
• CNC programming experience
• Strong bench fitting, grinding, polishing, and mould assembly skills.
• Knowledge of injection moulding and tooling design (2-plate, 3-plate, hot runner).
• Ability to read CAD drawings and work to tight tolerances.
