Job description: St. Joseph’s Foundation is a voluntary organisation providing comprehensive services for people with intellectual disabilities.Our Day Services provides a variety of Adult Education programmes in partnership with the Education and Training Board (ETB) in the North Cork, South Limerick region.In preparation for September 2025 the Foundation are seeking applications from suitably qualified tutors in the following subjects:– Art– Retail skills– Photography– Yoga– Horticulture– Farm to Fork.Informal enquiries to Mike Foley (Adult Education Programme Administrator) by email toClosing date 31st of July 2025Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

• Relevant Qualification in the subject matter area.
• A Train the Trainer Qualification completed or in the process of completion. Candidates with a Degree in Training and Education will be exempt.
• Ability to demonstrate a knowledge of the delivery, implementation and evaluation of QQI Modules
• Experience of working with children/adults in the field of intellectual disability (desireable).
• Full manual driving licence and access to your own transport.

JOB GOAL:Delivery, implementation and evaluation of QQI Modules in selected SJF Locations to SJF Service Users.Contract:Fixed Term – Locum basis – Sept 2025 to June 2026.Rates of Pay (as per ETB Adult Educator scale):Contact hours will be paid as per table below.The expected undertaking of 45 minutes (0.75 hour) preparation for every contact hour timetabled is included in the rates below:
