  • Autonomous research in the field of Classical Philology
  • Collaboration with established research groups in the field of Classical Philology
  • Conception and implementation of independent research projects and participation in raising the necessary third-party funds
  • Teaching of courses and conducting of examinations in the field of Classical Philology
  • Supervision of students
  • Participation in the organization of various event formats as well as in the public relations work of the Department of Classics

Your Profile

  • Completed doctorate/PhD in the area Classical Philology
  • Completed master thesis in Latin and Ancient Greek
  • Successful international publications
  • Didactic knowledge for participation in teaching in the field of Classical Philology
  • Profound knowledge in project management
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and English
  • Very good IT skills
  • Enjoyment of scientific work and working with students
  • Independent and goal-oriented working style
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 69,060.60 for a fulltime position.
