• Scientific research, publication and teaching in the field of educational science, especially in the field of school research
• Active Member in the working group of “Empirical Educational Research”
• Self-employed research and publication activities
• Participation and active participation in national and international research projects in the field of work in relation to initiation, third-party fundraising and cooperation activities with other research institutions
• Teaching and examination activities as well as supervision of scientific thesis and counselling of students
• Participation in organizational tasks of the work area and the institute as well as participation in university self-government

Your Profile

• Completed doctoral studies in the field of educational science, psychology, sociology or a similar subject
• Research focus on school research or comparative education
• International congress experience and publication activity desired
• Experience in conducting research projects
• Teaching experience, preferably in a university context
• Good knowledge of quantitative research methodology and analysis programs (preferably SAS, R, MPLUS) preferable
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
• High social and communicative competence, teamwork
• Leadership and organisational competence and enjoyment of working with people in an internationally oriented environment
• High personal motivation for scientific excellence and the ability to motivate and promote students
• Willingness to actively engage in interdisciplinary and international cooperation and interest in participation in national and international scientific exchanges
• Ability to conduct independent research and collaboration in research teams

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 69,060.59 for a fulltime position.
